Thanks to mecom film & tv, the Rhön will again be the focal point for television audiences of millions. “The Shepardess” is scheduled to begin filming in mid-May for the ARD network and will potentially be broadcast on a Friday night for the first time to audiences.

The film team will be busy for about four weeks in the Rhön, where not only the actors will feature on-screen, but the countryside also. Sitting in the director’s chair will be Dagmar Damek from Munich.
